The fifth of five pieces in my AP 3D Art and Design portfolio.

64 GB, 2026
Chipboard, white glue, origami paper
7.5” x 6” x 0.5”
64 GB is a 6:1 scale replica of an SD card, complete with the SanDisk logo and 64 gigabyte features on the front, as well as darker toned contact pads on the back. Given the inherent usefulness of an SD card, this model is designed to look worn to replicate the repetition of inserting and removing the object into and out of a camera, computer, or card reader. Its sturdy frame, achieved via an elaborate internal structure, mirrors the compactness and reliability of the real thing.
Box-o-Donuts, 2026
Pet G plastic, spray paint, chipboard
3”x3”x1”
10”x7”x2”
The Box-o-Donuts, a fidget toy by the fictional company The Carb Club, contains six lattice fidget toys that scrunch, bend, stack, and extend. This half dozen is made of laser cut PET G plastic and finished with spray paint and primer to mimic the flavors of donut frosting such as chocolate and strawberry.
The toys come in a box laser cut with company branding and nutrition facts, and complete with a film window. Interior dividers allow the toys to stay in place and the intuitive packaging design shows the donuts in their delicious display.
Sprinkles not included.
Focus Maze, 2026
Poplar, wood glue, tung oil finish
14.5” x 10.75” x 2.5”
This timeless maze is intended to combat the steady decline in cognitive functioning due to the digital age and the rise of generative AI. It is meant to promote planning, attention and focus, emotional regulation, and fine motor skills.
The maze can be completed by guiding one of four playing pieces along a track. Because of the side drawer with multiple playing pieces, participants can work on this maze collaboratively or independently. The only rule of the game is to keep the pieces in the maze—this way, the only way out is through, requiring players to fully think their way through the puzzle.
This not only gives them a goal and sense of purpose, but also combats the now-prominent culture of giving up and looking it up.
